Rather than surfacing an infinite queue of profiles, Libby gives every member a strict daily batch of 5 to 10 hyper-vetted matches, scored on explicit community identity tags and shared interests.

Beyond matching, Libby connects members to curated local venues, parties, and business mixers through its Explore & Invite feed, which refreshes hourly with live crowd levels, flash deals, and remaining ticket counts. When a member wants to turn a match into a real plan, they can send a Pay-to-Meet invitation that attaches a specific venue or event — acceptance locks the date, issues a secure entry voucher, and opens a 48-hour countdown chat so both people can coordinate.

Libby only charges a member's card or mobile wallet once their match actually accepts an invitation. Sending an invitation places a temporary hold, not a charge — so nobody pays for a date that never happens.
