1. Information we collect

When you create a Libby account, we collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, password, age, gender, city, occupation, bio, and any identity or interest tags you select. If you upload profile photos or videos, we store those files and associated metadata. When you send or accept a Pay-to-Meet invitation, we process payment information through our payment processor and store transaction records, including amounts, timestamps, and status — but we do not store your raw card or mobile money credentials ourselves.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to operate the matching engine, generate your daily matches, display your profile to compatible members, process Pay-to-Meet invitations and payments, verify your email address, send transactional emails (such as invitation and acceptance notifications), and maintain the security and integrity of the platform.

3. Sharing your information

Your profile information (name, age, city, occupation, bio, photos, and tags) is visible to other members you are matched with. We share limited information with our payment processor to complete Pay-to-Meet transactions, and with our email provider to deliver transactional emails. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Payments

Sending a Pay-to-Meet invitation places a temporary hold on your chosen payment method. This hold is only captured (charged) if your match accepts the invitation. If your match declines, you cancel the invitation, or it goes unanswered within the hold window, the hold is released and you are not charged.

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated personal data at any time from your dashboard's Profile page (Danger Zone), or by contacting us at the email address below. Account deletion is immediate and irreversible.

6. Your choices

You can edit or remove your profile information, photos, and videos at any time from your dashboard. You can also unlink identity and interest tags, resend your email verification link, reset your password, or delete your account entirely.
