1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create a Libby account. By signing up, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate. We may require you to verify your email address to retain full access to your account.
2. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. You can reset your password at any time from the login page.
3. Daily matches
Libby's matching engine generates a limited daily batch of matches based on your profile, identity tags, and interests. Matches are not guaranteed to result in any particular outcome, and Libby does not guarantee compatibility or the accuracy of any member's profile information.
4. Pay-to-Meet invitations and payments
When you send a Pay-to-Meet invitation, a temporary hold is placed on your selected payment method for the full invitation amount. This hold is only captured (charged) if the recipient accepts the invitation before it expires. If the recipient declines, you cancel the invitation, or the invitation expires unanswered, the hold is released and you are not charged. Once captured, charges for accepted invitations are generally non-refundable except where required by law or at Libby's discretion.
5. Vouchers and venues
Accepted invitations generate a secure entry voucher for the associated venue or event. Libby is not the operator of third-party venues and is not responsible for the conduct, safety, or service quality of any venue. Venue availability, pricing, and details are subject to change by the venue or ticketing provider.
6. Chat rooms
Chat rooms opened after an accepted invitation remain active for 48 hours before closing automatically. You agree to communicate respectfully and not to use chat rooms for harassment, spam, or unlawful activity.
7. Plans and waitlists
Libby's Free plan is available to all members at no cost. Plus and Premium plans are currently in development; joining a waitlist for either does not create a billing obligation and no payment is collected until the plan is officially launched and you affirmatively subscribe.
8. Prohibited conduct
You may not impersonate another person, misrepresent your identity or age, use Libby for commercial solicitation unrelated to its intended purpose, or attempt to circumvent the platform's payment or matching systems.
9. Account deletion
You may permanently delete your account at any time from your dashboard's Profile page. Deletion is immediate, irreversible, and removes your profile, media, matches, invitations, and messages from our systems.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, in our reasonable discretion, is harmful to other members or the platform.
11. Disclaimer
Libby is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, and we are not liable for the actions or representations of other members.
